Bali has a unique blend of natural beauty, rich culture, and vibrant atmosphere. Known as the “Island of the Gods,” Bali offers stunning landscapes ranging from lush rice terraces and volcanic mountains to pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. The island is a haven for those seeking both adventure and relaxation, with world-class surfing, diving, yoga retreats, and luxurious resorts. Bali’s rich cultural heritage, showcased through its temples, traditional dance performances, and vibrant festivals, provides an immersive experience that captivates the senses. We recently spent a few days at the Conrad Bali as part of a larger trip and wanted to share our experience for those looking to book a 5 star hotel in Bali.

Where Is the Conrad Bali
Inspired by the “Island of the Gods” beauty and hospitality, Conrad Bali is a luxurious beachfront resort located on the beautiful coast of Nusa Dua, one of Bali’s most prestigious resort areas. This 5 star hotel in Bali offers a blend of contemporary design and Balinese tradition, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere perfect for both relaxation and exploration. The resort features a variety of room options, from spacious rooms amid lush gardens and meandering pools, as well as the lavish accommodation of the premium and very private Conrad Suites.

How to Get to the Conrad Bali
The Conrad Bali is located approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar Airport, and the drive typically takes around half an hour, depending on traffic. The hotel offers a shuttle service between the resort and the airport, you can also book your own driver, or you can call a Grab, the equivalent of Uber in Bali, which will be cheaper. We ended up using the private driver we had used the previous day from another excursion in Ubud since we already had their contact information and thought they had great service!
Conrad Bali Rooms and Suites
We originally booked the base level room, a Deluxe King, which starts at around $175 USD a night, but we were upgraded to a Conrad Suite thanks to Hilton Diamond status – The King Conrad Suites normally start around $250-300 a night so we were thrilled to get such an upgrade! The Conrad Suites are located in a private wing of the resort with its own pool area separate from the main area which was another great touch.
The suite was massive, spanning about 1200 sq ft! It was decorated in a modern style, with both sleek wooden accents and polished marble throughout. A highlight was definitely the bedroom, which featured not one but two king sized beds that formed a megabed, and a pillow menu where you could choose pillow type and scent based on your preference which is something we had never experienced before and added a super luxurious feeling to the suite. Evening turn down service was available as well as comfortable slippers and robes for relaxing.

The bathroom was huge and had double vanities, a rainfall shower with a separate handheld shower head, and a soaking tub. There was a separate washroom for the toilet which also included a handheld bidet sprayer. There is also a separate sitting room with a makeup vanity, robes, and a safe.

The suite also included a spacious living and dining room, as well as a gorgeous balcony with a daybed.

How Is the Food at Conrad Bali
Conrad Bali offers several dining options, catering to diverse palates with a mix of international and local cuisines. The resort’s main restaurant, Suku, serves an array of Southeast Asian dishes in a vibrant, open-air setting. Eight Degrees South is a beachfront restaurant specializing in fresh seafood and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, perfect for a romantic dinner by the sea. Our dinner at Eight Degrees South was fantastic, and the seafood was incredibly fresh and flavorful. For a more casual experience, Azure Bar & Kiosk offers light bites and refreshing drinks by the pool. Overall we thought the food was excellent.
Amenities and Activities Available at Conrad Bali
The resort features multiple pristine pools, lagoon, and a pool bar just steps away. There were also plenty of lounge chairs available at the pool, and it never seemed too crowded.

The resort is also right on the beach, and cabana rentals are around $10 USD for 4 hours and were the perfect way to relax as they included refreshingly cool face towels, a refreshing face spritz, and a QR code to place food and drink orders that are brought directly to your cabana.
There are various activities available to book on site, including tennis lessons, cycling, group fitness, sunrise yoga and more. There are also several free activities including pool games, beach soccer, tai chi, yogilates, and more. The 350-meter beach also offers water sports, beach sports, and a jogging track.
This 5 star hotel in Bali is also home to a world-class spa, Jiwana Spa, where guests can indulge in a variety of treatments inspired by traditional Balinese healing rituals including massages, facials, sound therapy, scrubs, flower baths, and more. There is also a free 24 onsite gym, and personal trainers available to book for private sessions for a fee.
Final Conrad Bali Review and Rating:

The level of service at the resort was top notch, the food was great, the rooms were beautiful, the property was well maintained, the pool and beach cabanas were so relaxing, and overall we felt super pampered during our stay.
